THE FREE CLUB DOORS ARE OPEN!

Freelancing offers unparalleled freedom - the ability to set a personal schedule, work from anywhere, and build a life on one's own terms. However, it can also be a lonely journey at times.

Over the years, many freelancers have built incredible connections through work, social media, and online communities, yet something has often felt missing. There has not always been a dedicated space to discuss the realities of freelancing - the highs and lows, the wins and struggles, or the small but significant challenges like negotiating rates, setting boundaries with clients, or maintaining motivation while working solo.

That’s why we have created The Free Club - a dedicated online space where freelancers, remote workers, and self-employed creatives can connect, learn, and grow together. Whether just starting out or years into the self-employment journey, this is a place to feel supported, inspired, and part of a like-minded community.

Why The Free Club?

Freelancing offers incredible freedom, but that doesn’t mean it has to be navigated alone. The Free Club was born out of a need for connection - a space where freelancers can share insights, swap advice, and celebrate their wins with people who truly understand the journey.

Inside The Free Club, members will find:

  • Monthly Live Q&As: Join founder Amy Nicholson every month for exclusive live sessions, answering pressing questions about freelancing, remote work, and creating a balanced lifestyle.

  • Free Video Course on How to Become a Freelancer: Access a comprehensive video course covering everything from finding clients and setting rates to managing time and staying motivated. This course is free for members of The Free Club.

  • A Supportive Community: Connect with like-minded individuals who understand the freelance journey, celebrate wins, and support through challenges.

  • First Access to Events & Retreats: Be the first to know about exclusive events and retreats, with early bird discounts for members.

Additionally, members receive all the benefits of being part of Uncommon Folk, which includes access to multiple Inner Circles and partner experiences, such as weekly online co-working sessions, a social media platform for connecting with others, and in-person meetups. Members also gain access to an innovative business school for creative founders and freelancers, live opportunities boards, and more.

Who Is It For?

The Free Club is designed for those who value freedom, flexibility, and building a career on their own terms. Whether a freelancer, digital nomad, remote worker, or someone dreaming of making the leap into self-employment, this community provides a space to connect with others on the same path.

How to Join

Joining The Free Club is straightforward:

  1. Sign Up for Uncommon Folk: Visit the Uncommon Folk joining page and sign up. This membership grants access to Uncommon Folk.

  2. Join The Free Club Community: After logging into your Uncommon Folk membership, navigate to the 'Communities' section and search for 'The Free Club with Amy Nicholson' to become a member. Alternatively, use this direct link to join The Free Club community.

Notably, there are no monthly memberships; an annual donation helps run the platform, and a free option is available for those who cannot afford the donation. The Free Life and Uncommon Folk are passionate about connecting individuals to support and inspire one another in this new age of working and living.

I am so excited that the Free Club is finally here! I started The Free Life to help people create their dream life - and connecting with likeminded people makes it so much easier to chase those dreams, not to mention the doors that open from meeting new people from all over the world. I will be doing weekly check-ins in the club, as well as the monthly live Q&A online events. And I hope to connect with as many of you as possible in there. See you in the club!
