2 WEBSITES TO HELP MARKET YOUR BRAND

I have been working in the online marketing industry for over fifteen years now, and have learnt lots of tips and tricks along the way to help brands grow their online presence. Here I share with you 3 websites to help market your brand on social - whether it be your personal brand, your product or service, or if you work in marketing for a company.

Instagram Marketing Tips

CANVA - https://www.canva.com/

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I talk about Canva a lot - I use this daily! If you are like me and are not trained in graphic design, then this is the website for you. It has templates for most of the social media channels loaded into it, with professional looking designs. You can edit these designs, upload your own images, videos and fonts, change the colours, etc.

It is also great for designing logos and other marketing collateral, like postcards, brochures etc. Plus they have a Design School with tutorials and courses.

There is a free version, but if you want to unlock more templates etc you can pay £10.99 per month. There is also a Canva app, so you can design on the go!

A side note, is also to check out Canva Palette Color Generator - this website is great for identifying colours in an image, including logos, or photographs. Perhaps you want to create a social post and want to use the company brand colours, but you aren’t sure what these are. Simply add the image of the logo or screenshot a section of the company website with the colours on, upload it to the Canva Palette Color Generator, and it will tell you all the colour codes in that image. You can then copy and past the colour codes into Canva when you are designing your template [or into Photoshop etc]. Check out my Reel for more info on how to use this website here.

iEMPTY - https://iempty.tooliphone.net/copy-empty-text

Creating a beautiful Instagram account is key to driving people to follow you. Part of the overall look of your Instagram might include the Highlights covers. If you want to have text on your covers, do you want to then repeat that text underneath? Probably not, as it will look too cluttered. The iEmpty website is handy to let you have an empty white space, which is something that instagram weirdly does not - if you try to leave it blank it will automatically revert to the word ‘Highlight’. Check out my Reel on how I use this website here.
